Paula Balderosa

Paula Balderosa is the Clinical Supervisor and Head of Training at ABLE-UK Dubai, with over a decade of experience in paediatric occupational therapy as a clinician, trainer, supervisor, and advocate. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of the Philippines, Manila, and is currently completing a Master of Science in Applied Neuroscience at King’s College London. She is certified in Sensory Integration by the University of Southern California and is a member of the Society for Neuroscience.
Paula has extensive specialist training across sensory integration, neurodevelopment, feeding, communication, vision, and motor planning. Her training includes DIR/Floortime, MNRI, Oral Placement Therapy, Cortical Visual Impairment, Natural Language Acquisition (Gestalt Language Processing), Social Thinking, Handwriting Without Tears, and sensory-based approaches to learning, sleep, feeding, and praxis. This training has been delivered by leading institutions in the USA, UK, and internationally, including USC, Harvard Medical School, Perkins School for the Blind, ICDL, and the Star Institute.
She regularly delivers workshops and training for therapists, parents, schools, and community organisations. Alongside her professional role, Paula is a mother of three and has a passion for painting.
