How to delete your account
You can permanently delete your SEN2gether account directly within the app:
- Open the SEN2gether app.
- Go to Account → Settings → Delete Account.
- Tick the confirmation box and type DELETE to confirm.
- Your account will then be permanently deleted.
Once confirmed, this process is irreversible. You will lose access to your profile, messages, posts, and any associated content.
Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have access to the SEN2gether app or the device it was installed on, you can still request deletion manually.
Please email admin@sen2gether.com from the same email address linked to your account, with the subject line "Delete SEN2gether Account".
Our support team will verify your identity and process your request within 7 days.
What happens when you delete your account
When your account is deleted:
- Your profile, posts, comments, messages, and uploaded media are permanently removed.
- Any saved preferences, login sessions, or connected devices are cleared.
- Push notification tokens are invalidated, and access to the app is immediately revoked.
What data we may retain
Some limited data may be retained for legal, regulatory, or fraud-prevention purposes, such as:
- Transaction or payment records (where applicable)
- Audit logs or security records required by law
- System backups stored for disaster-recovery purposes
All such retained data is held securely and automatically deleted after the applicable retention period.
Data retention period
- Deactivated accounts are removed from live systems immediately upon confirmation.
- Backups and cached data are purged within 30 days.
- Legal and accounting records are retained for up to 6 years, as required by UK law.
